The story behind Maid to Flourish
Hi! I'm Lesli. Why Maid to Flourish? I'm a mom... I've been a full time mom, full time working mom, part time working mom and over the years, I've had no domestic helper, a full time domestic helper and a part time domestic helper. I've raved about my domestics, complained about my domestics, sworn I'd never employ another domestic, cried because I didn't have a domestic!

I've now grown up and seen life a lot differently. Few people would choose to clean other people's houses given the option, but so many ladies (and gents) have no other choice, and lack skills needed for other employment options.
​
My aim at Maid to Flourish is to help build a culture within our homes and for the people who work for us to understand that this isn't just a menial job, it's a very important job. So many households would never run smoothly without our domestic helpers. Not only is this an investment into somebody else's well-being, this will have a positive effect on your home, knowing that your helper has a clearer picture of what is expected, and how to do the job better. It's a win/win situation ;)

Maid to Flourish offers an opportunity to upskill and train your domestic helper in basic home management and life skills to enable them to work more efficiently and effectively in your home.

I offer group training, covering most things to do with running your home. I am also able to do on-site training in your home with your housekeeper once they have completed the course.
